Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Real Estate and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Melisron (TA:MLSR), which rose 5.12% or 760 points to trade at 15610 at the close. Meanwhile, Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TA:BIG) added 4.51% or 1000 points to end at 23180 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was up 3.73% or 2400 points to 66700 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 2.88% or 38 points to trade at 1281 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 2.34% or 167 points to end at 6959 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT) was down 2.15% or 1110 points to 50470.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 195 to 172 and 44 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) fell to all time lows; down 2.88% or 38 to 1281.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.15% or 0.09 to $61.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $65.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.60 to trade at $1332.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.31% to 3.4885, while EUR/ILS fell 0.45% to 4.2982.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 89.77.
