Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which rose 4.08% or 318 points to trade at 8121 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 3.15% or 750 points to end at 24550 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 2.05% or 25 points to 1242 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which fell 3.13% or 1280 points to trade at 39680 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 2.99% or 1670 points to end at 54260 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was down 2.20% or 12.5 points to 555.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 318 to 173 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) rose to all time highs; up 4.08% or 318 to 8121.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.56% or 0.48 to $86.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.46% or 0.41 to hit $88.85 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1843.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.21% to 3.1265, while EUR/ILS fell 0.30% to 3.5426.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 95.560.
