Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.21% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TA:HARL), which rose 2.21% or 48 points to trade at 2221 at the close. Meanwhile, Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) added 2.03% or 550 points to end at 27610 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TA:DSCT) was up 1.87% or 16.7 points to 912.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which fell 2.53% or 600.0 points to trade at 23150.0 at the close. Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) declined 1.97% or 1140 points to end at 56700 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was down 1.60% or 1100 points to 67710.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 213 to 181 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Harel (TA:HARL) rose to 3-years highs; rising 2.21% or 48 to 2221.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.04% or 0.02 to $50.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $56.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.29 to trade at $1277.09 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.5305, while EUR/ILS rose 0.26% to 4.1516.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 93.35.
