Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 4.00% or 2,450.00 points to trade at 63,670.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 3.02% or 2,550.00 points to end at 86,850.00 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was up 2.10% or 240.00 points to 11,690.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which fell 2.72% or 39.00 points to trade at 1,397.00 at the close. Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE) declined 2.50% or 90.00 points to end at 3,509.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 2.22% or 40.00 points to 1,765.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 292 to 171 and 70 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.37% or 0.31 to $83.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.18% or 0.16 to hit $88.26 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 1.00 to trade at $2,343.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.35% to 3.78, while EUR/ILS rose 0.23% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 105.72.
