Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Biomed, Communication and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 6.61% or 72.00 points to trade at 1,162.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) added 4.91% or 270.00 points to end at 5,770.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was up 4.39% or 98.00 points to 2,331.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 4.36% or 1,090.00 points to trade at 23,910.00 at the close. First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI) declined 3.67% or 560.00 points to end at 14,700.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was down 2.61% or 350.00 points to 13,040.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 280 to 179 and 85 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.35% or 1.06 to $77.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.99% or 0.82 to hit $81.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $1,966.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.86% to 3.78, while EUR/ILS rose 0.69% to 4.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 104.11.
