Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL), which rose 9.56% or 1420 points to trade at 16270 at the close. Meanwhile, Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) added 6.98% or 105 points to end at 1610 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was up 3.87% or 630 points to 16930 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 7.16% or 537 points to trade at 6958 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 2.68% or 60 points to end at 2182 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was down 2.06% or 80 points to 3800.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 228 to 164 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.36% or 0.95 to $41.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.05% or 0.89 to hit $44.41 a barrel, while the October Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.90 to trade at $1974.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.4091, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to 4.0075.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 93.558.
