Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Technology and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which rose 3.55% or 1090.0 points to trade at 31770.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) added 3.01% or 530 points to end at 18150 and Harel (TA:HARL) was up 2.58% or 70 points to 2784 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT), which fell 1.82% or 77 points to trade at 4150 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 1.51% or 400 points to end at 26050 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) was down 1.36% or 106 points to 7665.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 197 to 175 and 41 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.20% or 0.79 to $65.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.45% or 1.11 to hit $75.68 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1299.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.24% to 3.5666, while EUR/ILS rose 0.59% to 4.1728.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 93.94.
