Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 3.16% or 950.00 points to trade at 31,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) added 2.58% or 300.00 points to end at 11,950.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 2.31% or 118.00 points to 5,224.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which fell 2.50% or 51.00 points to trade at 1,989.00 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) declined 2.41% or 146.00 points to end at 5,904.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was down 2.07% or 980.00 points to 46,250.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 268 to 183 and 88 ended unchanged.
Shares in Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.50% or 51.00 to 1,989.00. Shares in Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.58% or 300.00 to 11,950.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.94% or 0.80 to $85.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.94% or 0.84 to hit $89.76 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.97% or 22.05 to trade at $2,303.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.04% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS rose 0.47% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 104.13.
