Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 5.76% or 60 points to trade at 1102 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE:ENRG) added 2.82% or 40 points to end at 1460 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was up 2.68% or 55 points to 2110 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which fell 3.00% or 154 points to trade at 4971 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 1.95% or 340 points to end at 17060 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was down 1.31% or 5.0 points to 378.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 272 to 133 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.25% or 1.21 to $38.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.78% or 1.10 to hit $40.71 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 2.50 to trade at $1966.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.34% to 3.4247, while EUR/ILS fell 0.40% to 4.0589.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 93.088.
