Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 1.51% or 1,270.00 points to trade at 85,440.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 1.20% or 430.00 points to end at 36,180.00 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) was up 1.00% or 390.00 points to 39,300.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which fell 1.94% or 40.00 points to trade at 2,025.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 1.93% or 17.00 points to end at 863.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was down 1.65% or 26.00 points to 1,547.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 224 to 208 and 107 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.22% or 0.16 to $73.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.23% or 0.18 to hit $77.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 20.60 to trade at $2,561.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.16% to 3.70, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.08% to 4.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 101.39.
