Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.17% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Isramco Negev 2 LP (TASE:ISRAp), which rose 2.48% or 1.5 points to trade at 62.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 2.40% or 182 points to end at 7775 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 2.33% or 330 points to 14520 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Strauss Group (TASE:STRS), which fell 2.00% or 220 points to trade at 10760 at the close. Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) declined 1.77% or 39 points to end at 2169 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was down 1.74% or 380 points to 21460.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 214 to 163 and 40 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) rose to all time highs; up 2.33% or 330 to 14520.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.41% or 0.80 to $55.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.26% or 0.78 to hit $61.24 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 9.35 to trade at $1495.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.04% to 3.5320, while EUR/ILS rose 0.18% to 3.9213.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 97.493.
