Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Communication and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 3.37% or 440 points to trade at 13510 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 2.64% or 222 points to end at 8622 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was up 1.37% or 126 points to 9330 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 3.77% or 2190 points to trade at 55890 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 2.40% or 62 points to end at 2524 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was down 2.17% or 1570 points to 70710.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 246 to 160 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.64% or 222 to 8622.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.37% or 0.22 to $59.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.17% or 0.11 to hit $65.33 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 8.35 to trade at $1551.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.4652, while EUR/ILS rose 0.21% to 3.8495.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 97.140.
