Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Biomed, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 13.85% or 187 points to trade at 1537 at the close. Meanwhile, Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) added 5.85% or 145 points to end at 2625 and Partner (TA:PTNR) was up 5.84% or 80 points to 1450 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Paz Oil (TA:PZOL), which fell 2.24% or 1170 points to trade at 51050 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) declined 2.21% or 9.4 points to end at 416.0 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was down 2.16% or 770 points to 34820.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 195 to 189 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) fell to 5-year lows; losing 2.21% or 9.4 to 416.0.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.11% or 0.08 to $71.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.18% or 0.14 to hit $77.07 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 5.20 to trade at $1318.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.38% to 3.5727, while EUR/ILS fell 0.07% to 4.2470.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 92.81.
