Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which rose 3.09% or 2080 points to trade at 69430 at the close. Meanwhile, Partner (TA:PTNR) added 2.52% or 46 points to end at 1875 and Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) was up 2.27% or 73 points to 3283 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which fell 2.45% or 142 points to trade at 5650 at the close. Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) declined 1.62% or 2.8 points to end at 169.8 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) was down 1.25% or 250 points to 19740.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 225 to 158 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.43% or 1.62 to $48.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.27% or 1.19 to hit $53.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.74 to trade at $1341.14 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.24% to 3.5646, while EUR/ILS fell 0.06% to 4.2479.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 92.27.
