Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 2.76% or 33 points to trade at 1228 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) added 2.54% or 450 points to end at 18200 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was up 2.10% or 220 points to 10680 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 2.16% or 48 points to trade at 2170 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) declined 1.83% or 99 points to end at 5302 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 1.64% or 1270 points to 76200.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 265 to 178 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.21% or 0.13 to $61.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.17% or 0.11 to hit $65.43 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 11.75 to trade at $1781.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.19% to 3.2580, while EUR/ILS fell 0.34% to 3.9144.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 91.275.
