Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 2.55% or 530 points to trade at 21320 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TASE:MLSR) added 1.82% or 400 points to end at 22420 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 1.59% or 47 points to 3000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which fell 2.41% or 4420 points to trade at 179200 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) declined 2.34% or 8.5 points to end at 355.5 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was down 1.55% or 51 points to 3244.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 258 to 217 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.35% or 1.00 to $73.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.46% or 1.10 to hit $74.28 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 3.15 to trade at $1780.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.38% to 3.2586, while EUR/ILS rose 0.26% to 3.8876.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 91.838.
