Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which rose 3.30% or 13.1 points to trade at 409.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) added 2.94% or 470 points to end at 16480 and Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) was up 2.64% or 134 points to 5205 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 1.88% or 21 points to trade at 1099 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 1.87% or 23 points to end at 1205 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was down 1.82% or 63 points to 3407.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 242 to 158 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.30% or 13.1 to 409.8.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.28% or 0.11 to $39.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.41% or 0.17 to hit $41.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 3.05 to trade at $1907.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.49% to 3.4362, while EUR/ILS fell 0.95% to 4.0254.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 93.987.
