Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (TASE:IFF), which rose 3.01% or 1420.00 points to trade at 48630.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 2.32% or 13 points to end at 557 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was up 1.84% or 91 points to 5040 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 2.39% or 86 points to trade at 3516 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 1.62% or 210 points to end at 12740 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) was down 1.29% or 20.0 points to 1525.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 243 to 139 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.08% or 0.63 to $57.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $62.37 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1470.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.19% to 3.4704, while EUR/ILS fell 0.12% to 3.8254.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 98.175.
