Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 4.39% or 550 points to trade at 13070 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TASE:SAE) added 1.79% or 39 points to end at 2212 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 1.74% or 960 points to 56130 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 1.61% or 69.00 points to trade at 4206.00 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) declined 1.50% or 3.9 points to end at 256.2 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TASE:ISRAp) was down 1.35% or 0.8 points to 58.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 202 to 176 and 32 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.74% or 960 to 56130.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 4.11% or 2.58 to $60.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 3.50% or 2.39 to hit $65.88 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 12.05 to trade at $1562.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.16% to 3.4589, while EUR/ILS fell 0.45% to 3.8464.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 96.912.
