Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.10% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 3.65% or 29.50 points to trade at 838.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) added 3.43% or 196.00 points to end at 5,916.00 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was up 2.52% or 120.00 points to 4,885.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which fell 2.42% or 63.00 points to trade at 2,537.00 at the close. Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) declined 2.23% or 180.00 points to end at 7,880.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 1.81% or 300.00 points to 16,280.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 315 to 163 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.73% or 1.33 to $75.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.62% or 1.30 to hit $79.03 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 8.65 to trade at $1,990.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.06% to 3.62, while EUR/ILS fell 0.55% to 3.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 101.94.
