Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 6.30% or 51 points to trade at 858 at the close. Meanwhile, Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 1.88% or 330 points to end at 17850 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was up 1.55% or 320 points to 21010 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which fell 6.42% or 690 points to trade at 10060 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 2.55% or 28 points to end at 1072 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was down 2.11% or 380 points to 17620.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 239 to 148 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.08% or 0.05 to $61.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $70.83 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 8.30 to trade at $1280.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.39% to 3.5827, while EUR/ILS fell 0.14% to 4.0140.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 97.197.
