Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which rose 5.25% or 1660.0 points to trade at 33280.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Partner (TA:PTNR) added 3.60% or 62 points to end at 1783 and Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) was up 2.86% or 940 points to 33800 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 4.58% or 56 points to trade at 1166 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT) declined 1.91% or 900 points to end at 46200 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) was down 1.57% or 98 points to 6146.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 211 to 170 and 42 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.58% or 1.60 to $63.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.41% or 1.59 to hit $67.64 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.60 to trade at $1312.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.15% to 3.4783, while EUR/ILS fell 0.38% to 4.2675.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 89.84.
