Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 4.57% or 30 points to trade at 686 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) added 4.36% or 570 points to end at 13650 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 2.75% or 60 points to 2240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shufersal (TASE:SAE), which fell 2.84% or 73 points to trade at 2500 at the close. Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) declined 2.42% or 81 points to end at 3270 and Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) was down 2.03% or 1010 points to 48680.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 266 to 120 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) rose to all time highs; up 4.36% or 570 to 13650.
Crude oil for October delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $54.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.79% or 0.46 to hit $58.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 7.40 to trade at $1523.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.09% to 3.5425, while EUR/ILS fell 0.04% to 3.9288.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 98.062.
