Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Technology and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 2.39% or 250 points to trade at 10730 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 2.37% or 480 points to end at 20760 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) was up 1.84% or 112 points to 6212 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which fell 1.97% or 31 points to trade at 1545 at the close. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:ALHE) declined 1.91% or 73 points to end at 3750 and Partner (TA:PTNR) was down 1.73% or 33 points to 1878.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 205 to 198 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.08% or 0.04 to $51.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.81% or 0.47 to hit $57.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.84% or 10.89 to trade at $1290.81 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.37% to 3.5392, while EUR/ILS fell 0.18% to 4.1551.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 93.20.
