Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Communication, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 3.18% or 39.00 points to trade at 1,265.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) added 2.92% or 690.00 points to end at 24,310.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 2.52% or 35.00 points to 1,425.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF), which fell 2.20% or 290.00 points to trade at 12,910.00 at the close. Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) declined 1.96% or 16.20 points to end at 810.00 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was down 1.79% or 61.00 points to 3,350.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 249 to 217 and 43 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.28% or 0.22 to $77.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.53% or 0.45 to hit $84.96 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 10.35 to trade at $1,755.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.27% to 3.41, while EUR/ILS fell 0.15% to 3.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 105.74.
