Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 2.21% or 240.00 points to trade at 11,110.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 1.95% or 940.00 points to end at 49,240.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 1.84% or 1,360.00 points to 75,200.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Harel (TASE:HARL), which fell 2.08% or 59.00 points to trade at 2,771.00 at the close. Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) declined 1.46% or 92.00 points to end at 6,192.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 1.41% or 17.00 points to 1,185.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 273 to 196 and 74 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.95% or 940.00 to 49,240.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.92% or 0.75 to $82.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.57% or 0.49 to hit $85.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 4.25 to trade at $1,968.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.50% to 3.80, while EUR/ILS fell 0.27% to 4.12.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.55% at 103.67.
