Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Communication and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which rose 3.09% or 57 points to trade at 1903 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) added 1.75% or 101 points to end at 5883 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) was up 1.63% or 280 points to 17460 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which fell 4.13% or 450 points to trade at 10440 at the close. Poalim (TA:POLI) declined 2.14% or 53 points to end at 2420 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) was down 2.11% or 5.9 points to 274.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 221 to 160 and 42 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.02% or 0.61 to $59.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.31% or 0.21 to hit $67.22 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.65 to trade at $1317.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.26% to 3.6294, while EUR/ILS rose 0.27% to 4.0883.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 96.328.
