Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 5.85% or 351 points to trade at 6350 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 2.25% or 31 points to end at 1409 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TA:FTIN) was up 1.09% or 92 points to 8510 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which fell 3.68% or 16.0 points to trade at 418.5 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) declined 1.48% or 33 points to end at 2197 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was down 0.90% or 1000 points to 110600.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 186 to 181 and 42 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.34% or 1.70 to $52.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 3.11% or 1.85 to hit $61.31 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.01% or 12.40 to trade at $1238.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.20% to 3.7231, while EUR/ILS rose 0.47% to 4.2244.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 96.895.
