Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.01% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 9.95% or 181 points to trade at 2001 at the close. Meanwhile, Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) added 2.30% or 1180 points to end at 52390 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was up 1.95% or 380 points to 19860 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which fell 2.44% or 1000 points to trade at 40030 at the close. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) declined 2.23% or 720.0 points to end at 31580.0 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) was down 2.17% or 390 points to 17570.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 191 to 185 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.01% or 1.41 to $68.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.03% or 0.78 to hit $74.77 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1220.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.23% to 3.6730, while EUR/ILS rose 0.21% to 4.2980.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 94.30.
