NEW DELHI, May 5 (Reuters) - Bharti Airtel Ltd , India's top mobile phone carrier, posted a 12 percent drop in average revenue per user per month, a key gauge for profitability, in the March quarter to 194 rupees ($4.3), the company said on Thursday.
The company's African operations posted an overall net loss of 4.16 billion rupees ($93 million), while the average revenue per user in Africa dropped 3 percent from the previous quarter to $7.20, it said.
