The Euro was lower against the Japanese Yen on Tuesday after the release of U.S. data on Building Permits.
EUR/JPY was trading at 112.08, down 1.03% at time of writing.
The pair was likely to find support at 111.82, today’s low, and resistance at 114.66, Friday’s high.
Earlier in the day, official data showed that the building permits issued fell unexpectedly to a seasonally adjusted 0.54M last month, from 0.57M in the preceding month.
Analysts had expected the number of building permits issued to rise to 0.58M last month.
Meanwhile, the Euro was down against the U.S. Dollar and the British Pound, with EUR/USD shedding 1.43% to hit 1.3735 and EUR/GBP falling 0.39% to hit 0.8744.
