HONG KONG, Dec 8 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks were set to open slightly higher, recovering slightly from a 1.4 percent drop in the previous session as a U.S. bond selloff hit Asian markets and resource plays pulled back.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index <.HSI> was set to edge up 0.3 percent to 23,167.9. The China Enterprises Index <.HSCE> of top locally listed mainland firms was indicated to open up 0.1 percent. (Reporting by Vikram S Subhedar; Editing by Chris Lewis)
