HONG KONG, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Shares in Hong Kong staged a slight technical rebound on Wednesday after regional markets received a boost from data that showed China's manufacturing sector picking up after slowing for several months.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index <.HSI> ended up 0.43 percent at 20,623.83, bouncing off a technical support level around 20,550 that has held firm in recent sessions.
