  • Hertz (NASDAQ:HTZ) stock fell 0.8% after U.S. auto safety regulators said they are investigating if the car rental giant rented unrepaired recalled vehicles to customers.

  • General Mills (NYSE:GIS) stock fell 2.6% after the food producer mentioned a volatile operating environment even as its lifted its full-year 2023 outlook.

  • Steelcase (NYSE:SCS) stock rose 3.2% after the office furniture maker reported healthy quarterly earnings and an upbeat profit forecast.

  • 3M (NYSE:MMM) stock rose 0.4% after the industrial conglomerate set a deadline of 2025 to stop making PFAS, also known as "forever chemicals," that are used in everything from cell phones to semiconductors and have been linked to illnesses ranging from cancer, heart problems to low birth weights.

  • Honeywell (NASDAQ:HON) stock rose 0.4% after the manufacturing conglomerate agreed to pay about $200 million to settle criminal and civil corruption investigations in the United States and Brazil.

  • Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) stock fell 0.2% after the online retail giant reached a settlement with the European Union in two antitrust probes after addressing concerns over its use of sellers' data, saving it from a fine of up to 10% of its global turnover.

  • Lucid Group (NASDAQ:LCID) stock rose 4.4% after the electric vehicle manufacturer closed a $1.5B capital raise that is aimed at boosting its liquidity.

  • Credit Suisse (NYSE:CS) stock fell 1.7% after analysts questioned the Swiss lender's credibility due to a lack of visibility on its ambitious turnaround plan.
