Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as in the sectors led shares .
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite unchanged 0.00% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Hygeia (AT:HYGr), which rose 17.68% or 0.058 points to trade at 0.386 at the close. Meanwhile, Select Textile (AT:EPIr) added 9.24% or 0.023 points to end at 0.272 and Ellaktor SA (AT:HELr) was up 8.86% or 0.140 points to 1.720 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr), which fell 3.91% or 0.009 points to trade at 0.221 at the close. Terna Energy (AT:TENr) declined 2.94% or 0.120 points to end at 3.960 and Jumbo SA (AT:BABr) was down 2.77% or 0.440 points to 15.460.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 67 to 38 and 18 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.39% or 4.81 to $1224.01 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.19% or 0.09 to hit $47.16 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 0.10% or 0.05 to trade at $49.73 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.12% to 1.1350, while EUR/GBP fell 0.01% to 0.8782.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 95.97.
