The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Intralot (AT:INLr), which rose 5.19% or 0.049 points to trade at 0.993 at the close. Meanwhile, Crete Plastics SA (AT:PLAKR) added 3.73% or 0.500 points to end at 13.700 and Public Power (AT:DEHr) was up 3.37% or 0.07 points to 2.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr), which fell 3.90% or 0.0070 points to trade at 0.1785 at the close. Motor Oil Hellas Corinth Refineries SA (AT:MORr) declined 2.74% or 0.52 points to end at 18.48 and Autohellas (AT:AUTr) was down 2.44% or 0.60 points to 24.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 57 to 52 and 21 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.32% or 4.10 to $1287.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.63% or 0.45 to hit $71.94 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 1.22% or 0.97 to trade at $80.25 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.17% to 1.1788, while EUR/GBP fell 0.26% to 0.8731.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 93.44.
