Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Travel, Media and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 3.91% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Loulis Mills (AT:LOUr), which rose 6.80% or 0.14 points to trade at 2.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Karatzi (AT:KRTr) added 0.86% or 0.050 points to end at 5.950 and Plaisio Comp (AT:PLAr) was up 0.26% or 0.010 points to 3.900 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mytilineos Holdings SA (AT:MYTr), which fell 8.36% or 0.640 points to trade at 7.020 at the close. Alpha Bank SA (AT:ACBr) declined 7.83% or 0.091 points to end at 1.071 and Intracom Holdings SA (AT:INRr) was down 7.45% or 0.054 points to 0.671.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 98 to 12 and 7 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.07% or 0.80 to $1224.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 4.51% or 2.58 to hit $54.62 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 4.27% or 2.85 to trade at $63.94 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.42% to 1.1406, while EUR/GBP fell 0.17% to 0.8895.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 96.41.
