Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 2.19%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr), which rose 4.61% or 0.2800 points to trade at 6.3600 at the close. Meanwhile, Aegean Airlines (AT:AGNr) added 2.56% or 0.20 points to end at 8.02 and Elvalhalcor Hellenic Copper and Aluminium Industry SA (AT:ELHA) was up 2.00% or 0.030 points to 1.530 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Bank of Greece SA (AT:NBGr), which fell 7.04% or 0.165 points to trade at 2.180 at the close. Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr) declined 6.61% or 0.150 points to end at 2.120 and Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) was down 6.52% or 0.0060 points to 0.0860.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 76 to 28 and 9 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.73% or 8.80 to $1197.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.13% or 0.09 to hit $69.89 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.22% or 0.17 to trade at $77.98 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.53% to 1.1558, while EUR/GBP fell 0.18% to 0.9009.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 95.52.
