Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Retail, Industrials and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite declined 2.11% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr), which rose 7.21% or 0.040 points to trade at 0.595 at the close. Meanwhile, Techn Olympic (AT:OLYr) added 2.27% or 0.040 points to end at 1.800 and Thrace Plastic (AT:THRr) was up 1.87% or 0.050 points to 2.720 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Select Textile (AT:EPIr), which fell 11.92% or 0.031 points to trade at 0.227 at the close. Folli Follie (AT:HDFr) declined 8.35% or 1.65 points to end at 18.11 and Viohalco SA (AT:VIOH) was down 6.65% or 0.210 points to 2.950.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 82 to 25 and 8 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 1.04% or 13.72 to $1311.48 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.19% or 0.60 to hit $49.84 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 1.06% or 0.59 to trade at $55.03 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.13% to 1.1956, while EUR/GBP rose 0.56% to 0.8840.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 91.73.
