Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Retail, Banking and Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 1.50% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr), which rose 9.04% or 0.046 points to trade at 0.555 at the close. Meanwhile, AS Company SA (AT:ASCr) added 2.84% or 0.040 points to end at 1.450 and Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr) was up 2.68% or 0.1200 points to 4.6000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Folli Follie (AT:HDFr), which fell 7.96% or 1.71 points to trade at 19.76 at the close. Elliniki Technodomiki Anemos SA (AT:ANEMr) declined 7.19% or 0.100 points to end at 1.290 and National Bank of Greece (AT:NBGr) was down 6.86% or 0.021 points to 0.285.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 65 to 41 and 16 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.20% or 2.67 to $1326.63 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $49.94 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 0.45% or 0.25 to trade at $55.72 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.39% to 1.1966, while EUR/GBP fell 1.09% to 0.8799.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 91.74.
