Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Banking, Basic Resources and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 1.47%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Plaisio Comp (AT:PLAr), which rose 2.48% or 0.100 points to trade at 4.130 at the close. Meanwhile, ThesKi Port (AT:OLTr) added 2.02% or 0.50 points to end at 25.30 and Intercontinental International Real Estate Investment Company SA (AT:ICIr) was up 1.82% or 0.100 points to 5.600 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr), which fell 13.23% or 0.250 points to trade at 1.640 at the close. Reds (AT:CAMr) declined 9.44% or 0.085 points to end at 0.815 and Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) was down 8.28% or 0.0056 points to 0.0620.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 85 to 25 and 6 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.63% or 19.40 to $1211.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.25% or 0.19 to hit $75.11 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.18% or 0.15 to trade at $84.83 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.15% to 1.1561, while EUR/GBP rose 0.32% to 0.8906.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 95.04.
