Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Banking, Household and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 1.39%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr), which rose 6.52% or 0.3000 points to trade at 4.9000 at the close. Meanwhile, Public Power (AT:DEHr) added 4.76% or 0.09 points to end at 1.98 and Intracom Hold (AT:INRr) was up 3.85% or 0.023 points to 0.620 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alpha Bank SA (AT:ACBr), which fell 6.80% or 0.115 points to trade at 1.575 at the close. Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT:EURBr) declined 6.67% or 0.045 points to end at 0.630 and Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr) was down 6.25% or 0.150 points to 2.250.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 65 to 38 and 15 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.53% or 6.82 to $1274.78 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.28% or 0.16 to hit $57.19 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.64% or 0.41 to trade at $63.86 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.33% to 1.1572, while EUR/GBP fell 0.06% to 0.8810.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 94.97.
