Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.93% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Centric Hold (AT:DESr), which rose 5.73% or 0.009 points to trade at 0.166 at the close. Meanwhile, Techn Olympic (AT:OLYr) added 5.20% or 0.090 points to end at 1.820 and Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) was up 2.47% or 0.020 points to 0.830 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr), which fell 10.68% or 0.011 points to trade at 0.092 at the close. Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr) declined 8.93% or 0.049 points to end at 0.500 and Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) was down 7.45% or 0.0190 points to 0.2360.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 74 to 35 and 6 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.06% or 0.80 to $1351.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.75% or 0.86 to hit $48.23 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.75% or 0.41 to trade at $54.08 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.06% to 1.2029, while EUR/GBP fell 0.60% to 0.9122.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 91.33.
