Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.88% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr), which rose 3.72% or 0.50 points to trade at 13.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Intrakat Technikon Kai Energeiakon Ergon AE (AT:INCr) added 3.72% or 0.18 points to end at 5.02 and Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr) was up 3.09% or 0.08 points to 2.67 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cenergy Holdings SA (AT:CENEr), which fell 3.72% or 0.33 points to trade at 8.55 at the close. Quality and Reliability SA (AT:QUAr) declined 3.67% or 0.04 points to end at 1.05 and Biokarpet Industrial and Commercial Enterprises SA (AT:ALBr) was down 3.63% or 0.07 points to 1.73.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 93 to 41 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.72% or 0.50 to 13.95.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.06% or 1.65 to $2,750.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.15% or 0.81 to hit $71.00 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.13% or 0.84 to trade at $75.22 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.03% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 103.89.
