Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Alumil (AT:ALMr), which rose 2.36% or 0.07 points to trade at 2.83 at the close. Meanwhile, Greek Organisation of Football Prognostics SA (AT:OPAr) added 1.50% or 0.22 points to end at 14.92 and Petros Petropoulos SA (AT:PTRr) was up 1.45% or 0.12 points to 8.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ekter (AT:EKTr), which fell 4.84% or 0.22 points to trade at 4.33 at the close. Intracom Holdings SA (AT:INRr) declined 4.60% or 0.16 points to end at 3.32 and Thessaloniki Port Authority SA (AT:OLTr) was down 2.78% or 0.60 points to 21.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 102 to 23 and 11 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was down 1.10% or 25.80 to $2,329.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.20% or 0.16 to hit $78.66 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract rose 0.25% or 0.21 to trade at $82.81 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.36% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.14% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 104.65.
