Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Banking and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.86% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Halcor (AT:XAKO), which rose 7.18% or 0.065 points to trade at 0.970 at the close. Meanwhile, Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) added 2.68% or 0.0060 points to end at 0.2290 and Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr) was up 2.59% or 0.170 points to 6.730 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr), which fell 11.38% or 0.067 points to trade at 0.520 at the close. Select Textile (AT:EPIr) declined 9.33% or 0.025 points to end at 0.247 and Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr) was down 4.46% or 0.210 points to 4.500.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 65 to 38 and 12 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.33% or 4.32 to $1326.52 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.23% or 0.11 to hit $47.12 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.25% or 0.13 to trade at $52.73 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.34% to 1.1869, while EUR/GBP fell 0.61% to 0.9154.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 92.75.
