Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr), which rose 4.95% or 0.14 points to trade at 2.87 at the close. Meanwhile, Lavipharm SA (AT:LPHr) added 2.98% or 0.02 points to end at 0.80 and Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr) was up 1.75% or 0.25 points to 14.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Bank of Greece SA (AT:NBGr), which fell 3.37% or 0.26 points to trade at 7.33 at the close. Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) declined 2.97% or 0.01 points to end at 0.33 and Intralot (AT:INLr) was down 2.67% or 0.03 points to 0.91.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 70 to 43 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr) rose to all time highs; up 1.75% or 0.25 to 14.50.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.17% or 4.35 to $2,610.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $68.06 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.15% or 0.11 to trade at $71.78 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.32% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 106.17.
