Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Retail, Banking and Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Creta Plastics (AT:PLAKR), which rose 9.27% or 0.560 points to trade at 6.640 at the close. Meanwhile, Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) added 4.64% or 0.0700 points to end at 1.5800 and Autohellas (AT:AUTr) was up 3.60% or 0.81 points to 23.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr), which fell 10.71% or 0.006 points to trade at 0.050 at the close. Centric Hold (AT:DESr) declined 6.45% or 0.010 points to end at 0.145 and Athens Medical (AT:AMCr) was down 6.00% or 0.090 points to 1.410.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 61 to 40 and 14 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.05% or 0.61 to $1276.19 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.88% or 0.94 to hit $50.92 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 2.11% or 1.18 to trade at $56.98 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.46% to 1.1707, while EUR/GBP rose 0.46% to 0.8921.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 93.73.
