Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Travel, Household and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite declined 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Ellaktor SA (AT:HELr), which rose 6.06% or 0.120 points to trade at 2.100 at the close. Meanwhile, Public Power (AT:DEHr) added 4.23% or 0.08 points to end at 1.97 and J. & P. Avax (AT:AVAr) was up 4.10% or 0.024 points to 0.609 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kekrops SA (AT:KEKr), which fell 3.57% or 0.0500 points to trade at 1.3500 at the close. Intralot (AT:INLr) declined 3.42% or 0.038 points to end at 1.074 and Cenergy Holdings SA (AT:CENEr) was down 3.28% or 0.0400 points to 1.1800.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 63 to 50 and 9 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.26% or 3.30 to $1276.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 1.63% or 1.07 to hit $64.62 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract fell 0.70% or 0.53 to trade at $74.81 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.45% to 1.1571, while EUR/GBP rose 0.10% to 0.8782.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 94.74.
