Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite declined 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Elton S.A. (AT:ELNr), which rose 6.17% or 0.11 points to trade at 1.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Crete Plastics SA (AT:PLAKR) added 4.93% or 0.70 points to end at 14.90 and Intracom Holdings SA (AT:INRr) was up 2.22% or 0.07 points to 2.99 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intralot (AT:INLr), which fell 2.73% or 0.03 points to trade at 1.07 at the close. Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT:EURBr) declined 2.43% or 0.05 points to end at 2.01 and Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr) was down 1.88% or 0.14 points to 7.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 73 to 50 and 15 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.32% or 8.75 to $2,738.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.25% or 0.86 to hit $69.55 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.05% or 0.77 to trade at $73.83 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.27% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.14% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 103.63.
